Video Critique
"Ross the Boss"
Ross incorporated his slogan well by using a song made by the boss himself, Rick Ross. He also had pictures that showed what he wanted to do when he grew up, which was make a business out of Boss Beats music label. The premiere skills used were not bad at all; he had pictures moving around and good transitions. It could have been more interesting, however, because it was only full of pictures. The video was 29 seconds.
Justin Vossen
"Just Lax"
Justin used his slogan very well by putting all and only lacrosse pictures and clips into his video. His premiere skills were admirable. He had different rotations and movement with his pictures, and incorporated video as well. It was a very interesting video because it kept me into it the whole time. The video was 30 seconds.
Shane McSparron
"When the going gets tough, the tough get going"
He used his slogan extremely well by using pictures to build up to the climax of the video, which was the second half of his slogan. Shane used transitions very well. It was interesting because the video lead up to the message he was trying to show. It was 25 seconds.
Eric Hatzenbuhler
"Never Look Back"
He used his slogan well because it was in almost all of his pictures. The transitions and movement of pictures were better than any I have ever seen. It was interesting to see how he communicated his message through skydiving, as well as a broken rearview mirror at the end. The video was 28 seconds.

Tiger Woods
Reporter: Today, Tiger Woods appeared for the first time in public to give his apology speech. The anticipation had been mounting for this for a long time, as the apology has been long overdue. He apologized in an organized fashion with a written speech, seeming deeply saddened by what this situation has become. How hurt he is exactly, we do not know as the speech was rehearsed. He mainly stated that the majority of the situation is private between him and his wife, Elin. This is only the beginning for the long road ahead, for Tiger.

Superbowl Commercials
Doritos
No specific audience
They used humor as well as action to persuade the audience to buy doritos
They hid the "snack attack samurai" until the very last camera shot to show how much the guy loves the product
The slogan is "snack strong"
The message was very effective because it shows how much people love doritos. The humor really ropes in the audience too.
Troy "Punxsutawney" Polamalu
TruTV
Football fans
They used humor as well as a celebrity (Troy Polamalu) to convey their message
Troy is hidden until they finally pull him out and you can see the celebrity.
"Not reality. Actuality."
The message is extremely effective for football fans. The humor and big name works well with the groundhog idea.
10 Strong Years
Hyundai
People looking for cars
They use humor with the Brett Favre saga and a famous person.
Camera view isnt used much
The message is very effective because it intertwines footballl (which was what was on the television) and the cars warranty
