Fan: I can not believe that a man of any sorts would get it in their right mind to go and do something like this. To cheat on your wife one time is horrible. Multiple times is unbelievable. It saddens me to think that a person that was once so well respected within the golfing community would stoop to this level. I would never have guessed that Tiger would do this. To me, this apology is long overdue. It is only the beginning to a long journey ahead for him. Personally, I do not think that he is going to ever be able to truly get back on track and become the man he once was. Sorry does not excuse these particular actions.

Reporter: Today, Tiger Woods appeared for the first time in public to give his apology speech. The anticipation had been mounting for this for a long time, as the apology has been long overdue. He apologized in an organized fashion with a written speech, seeming deeply saddened by what this situation has become. How hurt he is exactly, we do not know as the speech was rehearsed. He mainly stated that the majority of the situation is private between him and his wife, Elin. This is only the beginning for the long road ahead, for Tiger.
